I'm guessing you have a Philips TV. Mine has an option to allow wake from Chromecast. But it doesn't work. Does yours?

Have not heard them planning to do so. Howverver, there's a ton of apps that emulated airplay perfectly and without a hitch on the store. I use this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.softmedia.receiver&hl=en
It can't even properly turn off ps4 with system link on, so I guess not
I don't think they ever will... I'm using this temporary solution .
