You should beable to put any app in picture in picture mode

It annoys me only a few apps support this feature. It should be done more at the OS level and you should beable to force apps. For example, I have a logi circle cam I use for a baby monitor and I'd love to have that in the bottom right of my screen while I watch any other program I want...Netflix, Plex, YouTube TV.

There is a developer setting to force apps to be resized....may not be what you want but it still works....

If your logi circle cam will work with tinycam pro that would be best....Honestly any cloud based product is a horrible idea for a baby monitor....local control is always going to be the best. I personally use an Amcrest camera to achieve this. Baby monitor fully automated to show up on the screen when the baby is sleeping. Can't beat that.

Related: Would also love to watch two YouTube TV channels at the same time!

What ever happened to picture-in-picture!? Remember when there was a button on the remote control for it?

A couple reasons why this cannot work, but here's a big one - performance and resources available are different on different devices and on some device hardware just would not be able to support this with popular apps and it would be a fragmented experience pretty much no matter what.

Some applications assume they can use multiple video decoders at the same time, which may work if they're the only application using those resources but if you tried to have more than one simultaneously it wouldn't work. I've hit this with even a single application which was tested on device A as working so incorrectly assumed all devices out there had the same number of decoders available simultaneously.

I suspect lack of adoption is due to advertising. PIP wouldn't be a very viewable environment for ads, and so app developers have more incentive to not use it than to.
