Wireless usb bluetooth snes controller for nvidia shield

I was wondering if anyone is using an snes usb bluetooth controller for their snes games on the nvidia shield tv? I bought an snes controller but I cant seem to get it to connect. For my xbox one controller it was easy. Has anyone got the snes controller to work and if so how would i get it to work? Im new to the nvidia.

Hmm. I know Android devices can be temperamental with devices that don’t implicitly support the OS. I had a heck of a time getting the right Ethernet adapter for my Nexus Player back in the day.
