Ever since the newest Android TV version rolled out (Android P?), the nvidia shield will randomly show a message that says “wi-if turned off” and there is no way to turn WiFi back on without requiring a restart. We have two of these boxes and this has happened on both multiple times while using 5GHZ. Anyone else seeing this issue??
I had this issue. I sideloaded macrodroid (pick your own taskr or whatever) and created a trigger/action. Whenever wifi is disabled macrodroid will enable immediately. Fixed it.
I'm also going to look through the macrodroid logs when it happens mostly for curiosity sake but I can. And the app is worth the purchase if you need/want after you try it.
Has happened to me. Only noticed during geforce now tho
