It's insulting to Android TV.
Xiaomi Mi Box 3 and Shield TV are smooth.
Google on Android TV 8 made a very good job to trim down the OS giving back more storage and RAM to user.
I prefer to change the box every 3 years than whole TV (they promised 3 years update). I don't like solutions like JBL Link soundbar too. I would prefer OnePlus had some modular approach like Samsung had once with evolution kit. The budget oriented company now release $800 phones and now TVs with 3 years life...
I hope Android TV will continue to get good streaming ADTV boxes.
