Every time I turn the TV on it says there's no internet.

Question

I have a Sony Bravia KD-49XG9005 Ethernet connected to my router. When I turn it on there's no internet so no app will work. After I go to settings>network and wait it will finally connect (it might do that without going to settings). It must disconnect right after I turn the set off because I don't have a connection after turning it on again. Is there a setting I need to change?

Boy, I'm really not liking this TV a lot.

Try setting up static ip

What kind of router do you have it connected to?  Wondering if connecting both wireless and ethernet would help.

My Sony Bravia did this constantly before the ethernet port finally died.
