Looking to replace my Sony Z9F with a link bar. Just curious if HDMI inputs have input lag/latency? Would like to do some gaming. Also curious if you can automatically switch to the HDMI input if you turn on your console (i.e. I turn on my PS4 and it automatically switches to the I put my PS4 is plugged into)? Thanks!
Edit: also curious about surround sound with this thing. Can I add rear speakers? Would like to be able to do at least 5.1 audio. Not sure how many speakers the main unit has. Thanks again.
If you have your PS4s HDMI CEC turned on then yes, turning on the console will automatically change input, it will also turn on TV and change input if tv is off. FWIW, I've not noticed any lag.
I don't think you can add rear speakers, the only option is a wireless subwoofer to turn it into a 2.1 system
