Its likely due to the age of your box and/or it not updating. Happened to me in the past. I would format the box. That worked for me.
Ever since the android update my TV forgets the password everytime on start up.

Can you attempt to connect the TV using the WPS button on your router/option on the TV instead. This would be dependant on having a router and TV which has this feature but it might behave differently.
Have you tried a Factory Tested, or if any possible way to launcher bootloader and wipe the cache?

Lol, or update security patch level. That's a problem with smart TVs. The support after release is generally lacking.
Put the password on a post-it-note then it can read from that when it forgets. It's what all the old people I know do ;)
I have same TV. It's a very good TV. But I don't like it keeps changing brightness when watching movies. And it dims and brightens without any reason. Plus hdr 10 makes the brightness very low. What are your views?
Turn off all the start dimming options and it's not so bad
Did you ever fix it?
Your SPL is 3 months out of date (unless ATV doesn't get SPLs at the same time as the rest of Android products.)
