Mi Box 3 - Lecture 4K HDR 60 FPS ?

by Messatsu92

Hi guys!

I've tried to play "Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk" with my Mi Box 3 :

Codec HEVC Débit 86411 kbps Bit Depth 10 Chroma Subsampling 4:2:0 Color Primaries bt2020 Color Range tv Color Space bt2020nc Color Trc smpte2084 Frame Rate 59.94 fps Height 2160 Niveau 5.1 Profile main 10 Ref Frames 1 Width 3840 Display Title 4K (HEVC Main 10 HDR)

...but with Kodi I have a lot of lag. Do you have any advice to play this kind of movie with the Mi Box 3 ?

Thanks for your help!

Hi, check out my post about the same issue.

One thing I haven’t tried was checking for matched frame rates, which might contribute to the stuttering.

I ended up trying a Nvidia shield but got the same problems, then settled on an Apple TV 4K. Best choice ever

Have you try Plex or MX Player?

Gigabit Ethernet is required for reliable high bitrate 4K HDR Rips - ones that also have lossless HD audio.

At minimum an ASIX chipset USB3 > Gigabit Ethernet adapter is required.

WiFi is simply too un reliable.
