Hi, i tried connecting my PS4 controller by Bluetooth to my MiBoxS but it doesn't connect, it shows wireless controller on bluetooth devices and when I try to pair it just keeps pairing for 40sec until it says failed to pair. I even tried connecting my ps4 controller to the MiboxS using the wire but its not responding to any button it only charges the controller. Pairing kind of works.
I have different generation ds4 controllers and some works. It needs several retries often.
The problem however is the mapping of buttons which is a mess.
I hope for update to androidtv pie which is supposed to add native ds4 support with correct mapping.
But who knows for how long we have to wait. Xiamoi doesn't have the best track record for fast updates.
No without rooting or a kernel update.. he using this controller is this video is fake.
Sixaxis but it requires root. Android Pie was supposed to bring native support but I found it had latency issues even via wired, on the Shield TV and my non Sony phone/tablets.
I was able to pair my ps4 controller. But It failed the 1st time. I tried the other controller and it connects. Able to use it in a racing game.
I don't understand, I can use my PS4 controller on my MiBox, with bluetooth or with a cable and I have no problem at all :/
Perhaps this 8Bitdo USB adapter ?
