720p is hardly SD (which is classically 480i, but could be 480p), but still not good.
Is there any explanation somewhere on what's caused all this (and with the last update as well)? From this article it almost screams a DRM issue of sorts or something....
Next update Vudu will further degrade the service on Shield by describing the movie via telegram.
