I'm wondering if anyone else is having audio lag on multiple apps on their JBL Link bar, and if there is any way to fix it?
This is my first Android TV. I assume it's the JBL link bar but not sure. 3/3 apps I've used all experience the lag, HDHomerun, NBC and Amazon prime video. I wouldn't be surprised if it was the JBL link bar, it's got so many other bugs...
Is your TV definitely outputting through HDMI audio return channel? I had a situation where I thought the TV was outputting through HDMI, but actually still had wireless bluetooth as the option, and it was giving me lag.
Also make sure you are using “game mode” on your TV for that input because some TVs are brutal with video processing and sound linking up.
I've not noticed any audio lag on any apps, but of the three that you've noted the only one that I've got installed is Amazon Prime and I get no sound at all when using that app.
Given that you've swapped devices it souds like it may be more of a config or compatibility issue.
I use apps like YouTube, Twitch and NFL Game Pass and not had any lag.
