Android keyboard does not write on tv screen.

Question

I'm trying to connect my sony x800e to my wifi after we moved and it asks me to write down my wifi password with the android tv app. I connect the app by blutooth since it is not on the wifi yet and everything works fine, except I can't write dowb the password... I can type it on my cell but nothi g happens ob the tv. Anyone got any idea? Is there any way I can connect it by typing the password with the real remote control?

I would think you should just be able to use the remote to navigate to the WiFi password box, hit ok and you should get an on screen keyboard like any other text entry box.

Alternatively, connecting a keyboard by USB would probably work, if you have one.

I had to go into the tv keyboard settings and toggle something on/off in there and my ios/android androidtv app would again type into the tv, at work or id give the specific lineitem, but check there.
