It seems they went a little overboard on the idea of making the remote harder to lose by making it triangular.
Letting the netflix interns design the remote was probably a mistake.

I am extremely disappointed they didn't put a Usb-c power port. This would be perfect for travel (I don't want to carry a separate charger). Plus they could make an accessory that could provide port expansion for those of us that need a USB port or two.
I have an LG Magic remote for my TV. Never again will I own a device who's remote isn't designed to lay flat.

I know it's not likely, but I really want this to be able to be powered by USB. This is exactly what I need (HDMI output, microSD card slot, Android TV, small form factor). It just needs to be able to be powered by USB for where I want to use it.
Honestly the best part of a cylinder is how stable it is on a flat surface. I love it!
