Just a heads up, over at AVSforum some users are reporting finding new Shield models in stock at Best Buy. Everyone seems to indicate a single Pro at each store with maybe multiple of the "dongle" model. Some had to get them pulled from the back to purchase. Weird this isn't officially announced.
200 is too close to an HTPC for my liking. Wish both models were fifty cheaper.
Does anyone know if the wifi antenna is improved on the new model? I can't run a network cable into my room and the signal is weak in there so I have buffering issues. If the new one is better I may pick it up.
Wonder if the new OS is going to show up on the 2015 model.
I am struggling with the differences between the Pro and the Regular version. I am pretty sure I am going to pick one up for my living room TV as it has Dolby Vision and the Shield 2015/2017 does not support it.
anyone know yet if the new remote will be backwards compatible with 2017 models? I'd love to get just the remote control to upgrade controls on my old Shield.

I hope they sell the remotes.
