Got it yesterday from Canada Computers. It's a bit snappier, boot time and navigating is faster. The AI upscaler is nice but can't say it's amazing. It mostly only works with streaming apps and VLC (No Plex Support).
Slideloading is a bit of an issue though. I can't get Hulu to show up as an icon anymore using the same APK I did with my old 2015 Shield. It's probably not worth the money for most people but my old 500GB Shield keeps locking up these days. Haven't tried mounting a USB device yet for Plex server.
Also, have a 2016 LG OLED that doesn't play well with external Dolby Vision devices so no advantage there for me either.
Are retailers in Canada selling the remote only? Don't want to upgrade my box, but the remote is decently priced
