a pi-hole will block the ads served by ad domains. i've had moderate success on the nvidia shield

Not trying to be a smartass, but you can always use youtube.com/premium. You can share it with your "family" of 6 people. $2/person/month

I've used it on my Nvidia Shield before and found pretty good results. You will probably need to sideload it.
