I stupidly forgot my FireTV Stick at home and most places here have at most one or two English channels from free C or Ku band satellite. I went to the local "True" store, told them I wanted this box (which they had on display), paid the equivalent of about $80 USD (including tax) and everything went smoothly.
I have a MiBox at home and this is so much better. The remote has way more dedicated buttons, the box has a physical gigabit ethernet port 2.4 and 5ghz wifi, 2 USB ports + Micro SD, and it's a real true Android TV box. Google Play shows it as a "Skyworth Digital HPH07".
As far as as I can tell it comes with 1 year of free programming of around 85 channels, most are Thai and/or SD, but it's still way better than the TV that's available most places. The "family pack" which includes a bunch of movie channels is available for about another $16/mo, and they have a bunch of premier league options too.
The only main drawback I've found is that for some reason it doesn't support netflix or amazon prime video through the play store, but every other app I've tried so far works (some will need VPN for content though).
Don't think it's Android TV though and that's why you cant run netflix etc...
