[Question] Re-map “Live” button as “Play/Pause” button?

Live button is useless and I really need play/pause.

There is an app “Button Mapper” which allows you to map remote’s keys, except for netflix and live button :)

I would love to have a Live TV button on every android TV remote controller (a generic TV logo button that you could remap inside the android TV settings to open the app of your choice)

No its not possible to remap live tv and netflix button. Its hardware maped on remote. But you can use Live button fot its purpose in combination with an app called TVIRL. With this app you will be able to load any m3u IPTV file list. But in the end it is still unusefull because Live TV app embedded in Android TV OS is not so great. There are a lot of IP TV apps more good then that.
