Can I manually make a channel for an app on home screen?

Hi, 2017 NVIDIA Shield running 8.0.1 I have the android TV app 10 Play (it's an Aussie TV network), and it doesn't have a channel available to add to the homescreen. Is there a way to manually make and add a channel for an app?

Note: Not talking about scrolling to the bottom, selecting manage channels and then adding it from the sidebar, I'm saying there is no channel option for 10 Play on that list.

Tv app repo clones a shortcut to your home screen. It works great. I use it on mine.

The app Sideload Channel allows you to create custom channels with shortcuts to apps, I highly recommend using that app. But it sounds like you're asking about creating a channel content for a specific app, that's not something you can do.
