I am looking to buy a android TV box with either an optical audio output or usb dac to go with the android tv box. At the moment im looking at the New Nvidia shield Pro, only problem is that it does not have an optical audio output. I want a box with good specs and a recent version of android ( id prefer oreo or newer). It would also be nice if it supported 4k streaming on YT and Netflix.

Take a look at the Beelink King and King Pro...... The King has an optical out, the King Pro has an RS-232 output.
It is NOT Google Certified or Netflix blessed, but plays almost everything. Combine that with CoreELEC and you have a fantastic media player. Netflix running under CoreELEC plays in 1080P with DD+ audio.
I have an Nvidia Shield, but I still prefer my King Pro...........

Finding one with optical output and Widevine Level 1 for streaming in 4K in apps like Netflix and the gang is even more difficult. Is optical output really a must? I heard Nvidia Shield is the best and that Xiaomi Mi Box S comes second (because of the price).
