I have a Channel Master Stream + with the Live Channels app that gives me a 2 week guide and DVR capability. I just purchased an Android TV (Philips 75PFL5704/F7) and when using the Live Channels app (v1.22) I only see PSIP data and can only pause live TV, not set future recordings.
Is this a hardware limitation or am I doing something wrong?
In live channels the show will say recordable or not. Mine always said not when the channel source is hd homerun and yes when the source is live channels... Which is populated from HD.
I actually had two sets of the same channels - maybe check out the source?
Have you tried a reboot of your Stream+ ? Dumb suggestion maybe. Mine has been acting a bit weird the last few days and have had to do it myself. I'll have to give the future recordings a shot tonight just to see. I have a few automatic recordings going now and they've recorded ok.
what version of android tv does the philips have?
