I have a Philips 7503, with android tv and i want to turn on and off the tv with commands from the google home mini but the tv isn't responding. I can mute and play youtube, but this 2 commands won't work.
Is it possible to make this commands work on tv's with chromecast built in?
Somewhere in WiFi/Network settings there's an option for wake up with Chromecast which is disabled by default.
After two years it now works!!! Google can now turn on and off my Philips TV. Not sure if google updated or the tv.
Does anyone know if it's possible to add the 2021 Philips TV's to google home/assistant?

I also have a Philips TV. I can turn it off but not on. The whole built-in chromecast function is really buggy. Best to get a separate chromecast, which feels really strange when you have bought an Android TV
