My Mi box is actually working surprising well over Wifi, but I would still like an adapter to limited my wifi use as I already have a lot of devices on it.

Don't much around with 100Mbit only adapters. Get Gigabit.
Get an ASIX one like the well known UGreen USB3 > Gigabit LAN adapter. Some even have externally powered USB Hub's included in them for multiple USB device connections.
