Tvirl is the only one I believe that does it
Tivimate does not but the layout is just about the same. Plus the feature set is quite impressive
We also use TVirl, but I have read PVR Live also works with Live Channels.
If you want an app that works with Live Channels PVR Live is the best option by far. If you just want a good IPTV id say TIVIMate is probably the best and has a good layout
Forget TVirl. Well designed but what they charge just to make the TV guide auto-update is absolute extortion. Do not support. Tivimate is a brilliant alternative to TVirl/Live Channels with a reasonable, realistic yearly fee and a hundred more customizations than Live Channels will ever have.
I import m3u IPTV playlist via tvirl app and play the channels via Live Channels.
Give CosmiDVR a try. It's a Live Channels plugin with lots of features you can pause, rewind, and fast forward Live IP streams, DVR/PVR Recording (this requires a usb drive or sdcard with minimum 50gb), ability to modify EPG ID per channel from the Channel options quick menu, you can mark channels as favorites from Channel options quick menu and view on home screen and move them on top of the tv guide list, auto and manual EPG Refresh, support for multiple M3U playlists and XMLTV guides (local or from internet).
I went round and round with different plugins to use on my Nvidia Shield with Live TV. I used Streamin for awhile, but since I also have a Synology NAS, I ended up setting up Mosaic. Mosaic records IPTV channels better (at least more successful for me) than Streamin.
I do have Emby setup as well, but I find that Live Channels with Mosaic just works better.
What’s the best app to integrate IPTV channels directly into Live Channels?
Curios for everyone on here, how is the performance of your Live channels compared to tivimate? I configured tvirl, and love the idea and look of live channels (mainly integration into the OS , voice commands from homescreen? hell yeah) but compared to tivimate, Live channels is much slower, takes a bit longer and obviously lacking in features like catchup.
I'm wondering if the performance of loading the channels are tvirl related or just live channels.
Definitely PVR Live.
