Try this out. It allows you to create an AndroidTV shortcut to ANY app. For instance, you can install the app, but since it's not an official, AndroidTV app it is only accessible via settings. This is a simple shortcut that registers as an AndroidTV app, but points to whatever app you wish. I used it to get Xbox xCloud on my Nvidia Shield without going through settings each time to launch it.
You and I are looking for the same thing and that's because the lack of android TV apps which is Google's fault, The answer is NO there's nothing like this unfortunately.
Firefrox from aptoide or apkmirror. If you use aptoide it even updates it for you.

Use the app called "Launcher." When clicked it brings up all sideloaded apps.
There is a Firefox version available for the TV too. I'm not sure if it is available on play store, if not available then sideload it.
