To bad you can't use an ATSC tuner with this. Looks like a nice alternative to Androids built in "Live Channels" app.

Looks promising. I've had some issues in the past with PVR Live, but those seem to have been fixed by securing the tvheadend server. I currently use dreamplayer tv premium, which works well for basic usage, but doesn't support tvheadend native recording and doesn't update epg when only using live channels. With PVR Live we finally can start using Live Channels now.
Tried it but the groups didn't make sense. The guide didn't keep the groups from my provider but separated them by content type (movies, documentaries, etc.) which I don't want.
Quick question: I know recording is a paid feature, but can we enable recording on channels without a TV guide, or enable instant recording?
It is possible to use oscam/mgcamd?
do anybody know if it ok to update the live channels app yet?
This might be a dumb question but does this app support or will support HDHomeRun Tuners?
