I have an external speakers so that is already a remote that I have to use along with the TV Remote, is there any way I can disable the Mi Box S's volume control and just use the speaker control? Thanks!

I was also interested. I paired the Fire TV remote to the Mi Box S. The only annoyances were that the apps button doesn't work and the volume controls the TV via IR and the Mi so both sliders appear on screen.
