Get BBC iplayer from google play store. Use a vpn and select a uk server if you don’t live in uk.

There's an iPlayer addon for Kodi - the interface is very clunky, but it does work (worked for me on the Mi Box 3 at least).

Another option is to use PC software like get_iplayer or youtube-dl (for ITV) to just download the shows you want, and then play them back on the Mi Box.

You can pay for a (probably illegal) IPTV service with catch up.

You can get itv from the kodil or littlewiz repos on github for kodi. You'll need a vpn (expressvpn works but pia doesn't). Itv will work for catchup but not live and there's no ads. There's also wwwiplayer in those repos. Again works with express, can't remember if it works with pia.

You can sideload the apks for itv, all4 and Iplayer from apkmirror or apkmonk. There's also the apks for Irish TV that will have catchup and live for a lot of UK programs (virgin Media player, rte player). You'll need a vpn for them. Express works for all4, itv and Iplayer. Pia works for virgin catchup and blocks ads. The interface for Iplayer is really clunky and 'back' doesn't work, you need to find the screen back option.
