So this happened twice today, which was pretty noticeable since I have HDMI cec turned on. After turning on its not responsive. Can't do anything with the remote. I will try a hard reset now but having it turn on at night would be pretty bad so I would have to disable cec. Has anyone got the same issue and maybe has a fix?
I ended up turning off CEC because of this.
I’ve got a Kaon KSTB 6077 and this happend to me the other night. Also using HDMI CEC. Some users online suggested turning the screen saver off in the Android settings. I did that and now I’m observing if it resolves the behavior for good.
The box turned itself on today into a weird state with no picture and only sound on. I ended up turning the CEC off for the ultimate peace of mind ;-)
I do notice my MI BOX S connect to WiFi periodically in sleep mode. I guess this behavior might also cause your issue.
That is just China remote waking it so they can login. No worries.
