Absolutely best (looking) explorer for any Android is FX File Explorer - both handheld and TV - and I tried all of them, incl Solid.
It so much feature packed, beautifuly works with cloud services, is lite on resources /size and has no uneeded permissions. I am actually shocked it doesnt have wider popularity.
Delete it. It's a bad actor.
Start by not using ES Explorer
