Audio delay is inherent to bluetooth some more some less good luck
There is latency when using Bluetooth speakers, I wouldn’t recommend it.
If you want to spend as little as possible , your best option would be some computers active speakers with optical port . I think the mi box has optical out?
It’ll be okay. But just a minor improvement over tv speakers.
A used AV receiver and some bookshelf speakers is a better solution.
