Good evening,

when i connect my Bluetooth earphones to my Mi Box S my Internetconnection gets so alle i cant even watch Netflix. WiFi uses 5ghz and as far i know Bluetooth uses 2,4ghz so there shouldnt be a Problem. Anybody got some thougts in that ?

try using just 2.4 Ghz, i found that 5Ghz is actually slower even if range is not the issue, must be something with the 5Ghz on the Mi S. I have done extensive testing, speed test doesn't show any differences but real life results are telling a different story

Xiaomi Mi Box cuts down power supply to the USB port when it goes to sleep/Suspend mode. Therefore, it does not realize that it has a USB adapter connected to it when wakes up from sleep. You can side load the Wakelock app from the link below and Enable "Processor" and "Wi-Fi normal" in Wakelock to see if that helps. I was having the same issue with a USB Ethernet adapter/HUB.

So I disconnected all Bluetooth devices including mi remote. Rebooted, disconnected the Soundbar that was connected via toslink and added my earphone again. Now it works. After that I added the remote again.
