I have three different Android TVs in the house.
If I try use the app to connect to one of the TVs and then try to use another one, I have to re-pair the remote over and over.
Is this normal?

I don't use the App but I am going to speculate...
Areif you connecting via bluetooth? If yes then that sounds normal as it's a pair.
But i believe this app also lets you connect over wifi if both phone and TV are on the same network have you tried this method? As that "might" give you a better result.
This app, is really bad. It has to be updates since 2017. I don't think there is much you can do :(
is bluetooth, no ir. so need a sec to connect again. im my case i repitedly push the smal button in the center and its connect in 2 segs.
The app is poorly maintained. One idea is to try using an apk cloner like Dr Clone. It's a longshot, but perhaps might work if you pair each copy of the app to a single TV.
