Remote alternative

by vdnster

So I lost the remote for my shield 2017 model and looking for an alternative. One with mouse function support would be nice, what do y'all recommend?

You can buy the 2019 shield remote

Harmony Smart Hub Remote ~$58 or so at Walmart. It can be a pain to setup, but worth it. I would have probably returned my Shield had it not been for this remote.

When I need a mouse, I plug in my Amazon tiny keyboard/ mouse combo.

Go to Amazon and search for "

AuviPal G9 Pro Backlit 2.4GHz Wireless Air Mouse Remote with Google Voice Assistant"

They work really well and cheap (21.99 US) and you have keyboard as well

Wechip g20. It uses a USB dongle, which in my experience performs better than an Bluetooth air mouse. Feels pretty cheap but everthing works. Power button can be programmed. I bought a second after using it. The one thing that sucked about the second one is it has Wechip written on it.
