Mi Box S 4K Live Channel Issues

Hello,

I just got the Mi Box S 4k. Overall happy with it so far, still playing around with it a bit. I'm having a couple issues which I hope someone can help me with.

  1. Live Channels. Some of the Live Channels don't work in the Live Channels sections, but work in their own specific app. For Canadians, I'm having this issue with SportsNet Channels. They work in the SportsNet app, but not in the Live Channels section. Any idea on why this could be?
  2. Some of the channels that offer live channels don't show up as an option in Live Channels (I've checked and they don't show up in the enable options for Live Channels). Apps like Global TV, CTV, Fox News, etc have live channels but don't show up.
  3. I side loaded the TSN app using an APK. Issue is the APK is designed for mobile, so its thin (vertical) like a phone. Is there any way of fixing this so it fills the screen?

Point 3, install an orientation app and use that to fix the formatting.

I'm not sure I fully understand your first two questions, are you talking about the live channels app itself? You nee to use another app in conjunction with it as a source. It doesn't just scan apps etc.

The "Live Channels" sources is kind of finicky and it works for some but not others. It works great with my HDHomeRun OTA tuner and at one point Pluto TV worked great, but then Pluto TV changed something and now it tunes the channel but no channel name or program name. I've just reverted to using it OTA for now.

Edit: this is the same on my Mi Box S and Nvidia Shield.
