Mi box s Kodi won't display 4k

The settings on the box is set to 4k 60hz and can play Netflix 4k perfectly. I can also play 4k local files without any issues with Kodi. However I cannot set the resolution within the Kodi app to anything else than 1080 which probably means I play 4k material with only 1080p output

Does anybody know how to fix this?

Content should be at 4k

Kodi's settings show it's interface's resolution, not of the content and the interface of Kodi is locked to 1080p. 4K content will be played at 4K resolution.
