It's up to each app to integrate the Chromecast feature - Netflix, Hulu, Cbs have it
The box and your PC or phone have to be on the same Wi-Fi network also
Make sure your mibox and PC are in the same network. I had my laptop connected to my 2.4Ghz WiFi and couldn't cast to my devices in the 5Ghz band a while back
I've found that casting is much more reliable if I install the Cast Receiver app and use that target instead of the Mibox one.
I threw together this macro on Macrodroid (you'll need to sideload that).
It keeps the box from going to sleep when the screen is off and checks the network connectivity specifically, every minute that the screen is turned off.
I tested it throughout the day (more specifically casting) and it works perfectly for my Mi Box S on Android 9 connected via ethernet
It seems that you do not understand. I expected to mirror my computer screen on my TV to display exactly what my computer is displaying. IT IS NOT POSSIBLE.
These boxes are so stupid and useless, connecting a computer to TV with HDMI is 1000% better.
I dont think you understand how casting works.
My phone can cast YouTube to my Mi Box. I think my browser can too. Make sure the mibox and tv are turned on. Mibox casting is only available while the box is on. This is a big reason I prefer the Chromecast ultra.
