Cant disable "let other control your cast media"

When i open google home app and go in settings for my tv i dont see the button to disable the cast notification for everyone on the same wifi Any help?

I have the exact same issue. It's so frustrating.

My two google home speakers and shield tv is showing the aforementioned option. ( clicked on the device-> ⚙️ button on the top right)

How did you add the device ?

  1. It showed up automatically in the home app
  2. Add button , and then set up new device.
  3. Add button, and then link something already set up.

If it’s the third method, you lose a lot of default google functionality.

*edit - Is it showing the 4 colored dots on the device in home app dashboard ? Did you have this feature a available before and suddenly not available now ?
