What image space to use for hdr downloaded content?

Hi,

I have a Samsung Q70r tv and mi box. Everything works fine except when I try to play hdr downloaded content. The colours look weird. Example photo from a TV series I tried to play in VLC.

I currently use 4k smpte and ycbcr444 10 bit. I tried all combinations but nothing seems to work.

What TV are you using? Maybe somebody has the same one. I have a Vizio TV that never displayed HDR correctly. The MiBox really should match up with the TV automatically though.

Try playing it with Kodi. I don't know how VLC handles HDR, but I do know that Kodi handles HDR10 correctly.
