Either there are production delays in Asia because of the Covid economy, or there are shipping containers full somewhere not moving because of the same.
I know this is a month old, just wanted to let people know I got a notification from camelcamelcamel that the price dropped to 200, so I looked and they had them in stock, planning to ship today so I grabbed one. Less than 5 min later they were completely sold out and no other retailers had gotten any. Go to camelcamelcamel and put an email notification on for it to your email address at $200 (since it usually sells for $199.99 this works)
the tube is just as good. Only difference is no USB ports and 1 GB less ram I think. Oh and it's not smartthings ready or plex server ready.
So if you don't plan on playing games with it, the tube is a good alternative.
I'd come to the conclusion that it is sold out due to high demand and not that NVIDIA just stopped making them. This is all of course ignoring the global pandemic and its effect on everything.
