didn't manage to fix my device that randomly restarts lol....brand new and cant return it im sure the storage is fucked.....even clearing data has same issue.
I have Mi Box 4K none S model will be any Android 9 Pie update for this model?

I just have to rant a bit, get it off my mind.
After moving out of my old place due to all this pandemic stuff going on, my Mi Box was nowhere to be found. Tore the new place up looking as well as the old one - nothing.
I ended up buying a Hisense TV with Android built in. I now have my Android TV back, save for a few workarounds (ie Installing HDHomeRun app first before being able to access network tuner) but I am finally happy with my TV again.
My Mi Box remote mocks me on my coffee table daily, however. Especially with all these updates fixing everything.
Switched to firetv 4k few months back. Happy to see that I don't have to wait for these buggy updates. Google seriously need to up the game for androidtv update quality and frequency of updates.
Chromecast is the only actual advantage androidtv has over firetv but even the inbuilt CC is not bug-free.
This update fixed my issue with Hulu playback. Also helped Jellyfin play live tv from server with hdhomerun prime
