So tl;dr I use a 64gb usb flash drive to play content from my MiBox S and yesterday after the update, my USB stopped being detected. So I tried using it on my computerS and I haven't managed to detect the drive anywhere. Has anyone had this happen before?
I'm not sure if your Mibox broke it but these things happen and flashdrives randomly fail. First plug it into a desktop/laptop and if on windows go to Disk management and see if it's listed there under drives. If it's not showing there its probably bus, get a new drive.
I got the same issue with my android box. Its from the android box. I wasted 3/4 usb flash drives .... otherwise box is working - no problems at all.
I remember i connected once a usb flash drive to MiBox before 6-7 months to setup some apps for my uncle and it did burn the usb. It was not recognisable anymore by any os.
Yesterday I bought my own MiBox and wanted to install an APK, guess what? My 128GB drive is broken.
Looks like this shitty box does corrupt and break flash drives.
Maybe is a defective flash drive...
Use some partition software to detect it, maybe the volume lost its name or something, usb drives act weird sometimes, the fickle fuckers
