On what other devices do you use google assistant? Are any in the same room? Have you added the TV in the Google home app? What are you trying to ask it?
Filter out everything but assistant here and see what it's registered.
Yeah I caught on to that... it's more a part of the joke when me and my wife cuss at it... Most of the time it just does nothing when you press the button because it wakes but doesnt detect our voice. You can see the audio on the screen when it works... the rainbow graphic fluctuates with the audio when it is working but it just sits like still waiting dots when it doesnt work
Since you just bought the Phlips 5704 yesterday, I think you should return it and try a different brand or model!
