I am hoping that we may be able to pull the stream apk from their device to run on other Android TV devices.
Their content aggregation is so nice, then to be able to just list all add-ons it is available for, better than stock.

Tivo is probably using Operator Tier Android TV on the Tivo Stream, which means the interface isn't just a standalone apk. It's a customized home screen launcher basically, that is reliant on other OS system modifications as part of the Operator Tier SDK. So, it most likely won't work on other devices.
Yeah Im also looking forward to it. I have a Shield now but have had it for 5 years (and a Roku TV in the bedroom) but always eager to try new, cheap Android TV boxes.. especially if the search integration works as advertised.
It would be great if Tivo did somehow include TVE channels not just on-demand content.
