I need to remotely manage Mi Box S that I've bought for my parents who are not staying with me.

What are the confirmed remote management apps that work for Mi Box S? Searching for one is like searching for the holy grail.

There are many options being suggested here and elsewhere but the common feedback is TeamViewer and Anydesk only allows remote view and not control for Xiaomi devices or at least not for Mi Box. Is this still the case?

I use Airdroid for my own boxes within my home network and if I'm not mistaken it needs root which I'm trying to avoid for Mi Box.

Have not tried Alpha VNC Lite. 10min limited use is bummer. I suppose if it's the holy grail I will consider purchasing it. Anyone knows how much is the paid version and if sideloading using same Google account will still be validated?

Any other remote management app has been confirmed to work in Mi Box?
