Nvidia gamestream to a mi box s.

Hello, i am considering buying a mi box s, since its way cheaper than a nvidia shield tv.

I will only use the mi box s as a stream machine since i want to play my pc games in my tv, i have a smartv LG tv for netflix and what not.

I know it does support Geforce now, ut geforce now is not available in my country, so i was hoping for using steamlink, moonlight or gamestream, will this work? Thanks

Steam link and moonlight should work. Gamestream is exclusive to the NVIDIA Shield, so will not be available.

GeForce Now is completely different as that is accessing a cloud computer on NVIDIAs servers rather than your own.

Unfortunately I can’t comment on performance of MiBox as all I use is Shields, but the steam link app has worked pretty well so far on my Shields. Make sure you have good WiFi or will need to use Ethernet via a usb hub on the MiBox.
