Is there a way to set up a pin or password for my TCL 50 inch Android TV? I'm able to change the pin from the settings but it doesn't affect the Android TV interface.
Problem is theft is very common where I'm from. I've been burgled once and two of my TVs were taken so I'd like to be able to make it redundant for a possible burglar.
If you set the pin form settings, I'm still able to reset the TV from Android and it requires the default 1234 pin to reset and not my changed password from the settings.
Any help will be most welcome
A burglar won’t know it’s unusable until he gets it home, by which time you’ve already lost it and claimed the insurance, so what’s the point??
