Hi, been trying to use the remote apps for my TCL android TV, and as soon as the phone's screen goes off, or I try to switch the app, it automatically turns off my tv. This happens with the remote android tv and the official one by Google. Is there any way to solve this?
Mine turns off too. Only I use USB mini keyboard. Still fiddling around myself to find out why TCL TV does this.
Enable developmer option and make sure that the sleep option is tuned off when charging
I guess I can say I solved it. Tried out a bunch of apps and ended up finding the t cast app which has a built in remote. Works perfectly even though the design is not perfect.
Disable HDMI CEC.
