Does the Amazon app no longer indicate 1080p after a recent update? When the pause screen comes up it now only says HD. I'm hoping that it's still playing in 1080p.

I noticed that as well. The 4k HDR shows will show that when paused but 1080p no longer has an indicator. It still shows on the Firestick
It's always going to be at least 1080p. The bitrate of that stream? Who knows.
Same question here, but I'm also not even getting the 4K HDR popup anymore. I just go into my picture settings to see if HDR is showing. It's not great, but hey whatever.
Prime Video still indicates HD 1080p on my TV.
As an Android TV user I stopped using Amazon, they treat us ADTV users as second class citizens, app from UI and performance perspectives is horrendous. And Fire OS fanboys are worse...
Now I am subscriber of Netflix and HBO Max.
Maybe they are following the stupid trend from YouTube not considering 720p as HD anymore and now 1080p is the new HD.

What device? I think it's contextual based on bandwidth. If bandwidth is good it'll show 1080p. If not it'll drop down and show HD.
